About your team:

At Centrica Business Solutions, we’re proud to partner with over 7,000 organisations globally – helping them to balance planet, with profit. We build, operate and maintain onsite, large-scale energy assets like Solar PV and Combined Heat and Power – to help businesses to save the planet and save money. We’re also transforming the UK’s energy landscape by partnering with landowners and developers to build a 900MW portfolio of new grid-scale solar farms and battery storage assets.

Military & Athlete 2026 Talent Placement - Change Delivery Manager x2 (June 2026 Intake).

Location: Hybrid with occasional office travel for collaboration and team meetings. For example: Windsor, London, Leicester, Stockport.

Duration: 12-month Fixed term contract.

This programme is designed to support you as you transition into a new career. Whether you are leaving the Armed Forces or finishing an elite sporting career, we welcome the experience, discipline and resilience you bring.

You’ll gain hands on experience in a FTSE100 organisation, receive tailored support, and join a community that values who you are and what you can offer.

What you’ll do:

No two days will be the same in our Transformation Team. You’ll work at pace, learn fast and contribute to meaningful transformation work across Centrica.

During your placement, you will:

• Work within our Transformation Team on strategic change initiatives

• Help identify, plan and deliver change across business units

• Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to coordinate change activities

• Support teams to adopt new processes, systems and behaviours

• Translate complex information into clear, accessible communication

• Contribute to continuous improvement across the change community

• Build strong networks across the business

• Live our values: Courage, Care, Delivery, Agility and Collaboration

What we’re looking for: we’re looking for potential, not perfection. You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply:

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience delivering end-to-end change or complex projects

• Skills in service design, process improvement or project management

• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, communication and storytelling skills.

• Confident with digital tools and problem solving

• Experience with analysis (process, gap or requirements)

• Ability to develop others and take ownership when change isn’t landing

• Strong leadership, with desirable familiarity with frameworks such as ADKAR, Scrum or Waterfall.

You’ll also have a dedicated business mentor, opportunities to meet senior leaders, and plenty of support to settle into your role.

Who the programme is for:

This placement is open to:

• Military Service Leavers (leaving the Forces or within the 2year CTP window at application)

• Elite Athletes (international competition experience and/or professional UK sports experience within the last two years)

• £50,000 salary for the 12month placement
