We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Manager to join our remote Event Marketing Team. The ideal candidate should bring strong organizational skills and a tech-savvy approach to lead planning, coordinating, and executing virtual and in-person events. Experienced in tech space, the candidate should showcase excellent communication skills and a self-motivated attitude to contribute to the success of our dynamic, global team.
This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the US - East Coast. Most of the events you’ll work with are located in the North America region, but half of our team is located in Europe. Therefore an overlap in working hours is required.
What you’ll be doing:
Event Coordination: Lead, plan, coordinate & execute virtual, hybrid, and in-person events that are strategically aligned with the company’s objectives. Plus recruiting venues, suppliers, speakers and entertainers and negotiating their contracts.
Budget Management: Develop and recommend the budget, event marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
Cross-team collaboration: Collaborate with wider marketing and sales teams to ensure events are deployed across all channels.
Event Marketing Campaigns: Design and create promotional content in collaboration with the Demand Generation and Design team such as email campaigns, landing pages, creative assets, and other channels.
Event Platform Management: Support day-to-day usage of our hybrid events platform, build and execute virtual and hybrid events along with troubleshooting before, during, and after an event.
Reporting: Maintaining event analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting.
Research: Stay on top of trends and new tools in the event space, share best practices, new vendors, and event locations for Camunda’s internal and customer-facing events.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Event Management/Hospitality, or related program with a minimum of 5 years of hands on event management experience.
Tech Skills: Experience with software tools commonly used in event marketing such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Asana, Confluence or Airtable, and a variety of event platforms.
Strong Organizational Skills: You have excellent organizational skills, you are resilient under pressure and are able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver on agreed timelines.
Strong Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a remote environment.
Team Player: Strong communication, support and collaboration skills both verbally and written with team members, stakeholders & external partners.
Self-Motivated: Demonstration of ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks. Take initiative in suggesting improvements and optimizations for event management processes.
Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and respect for cultural differences in global business environments for team members as well as international stakeholders.
Willingness to travel: Some domestic and international travel required.

Compensation
We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.
The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth:
United States: $92,700.00 to $149,400.00
Germany: €59,900.00 to €99,100.00
United Kingdom: £58,200.00 to £95,700.00
Singapore: S$115,100.00 to S$172,600.00
If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com (our global employer partner), and your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview.
