About the role

The Work, Reward and Employee Relations Centre of Excellence is integral to our collective ambition to put our customers at the heart of everything we do at BT Group.

As a CoE, we are entering a new chapter where customer-centric total reward solutions will enable outstanding business performance while delivering a differentiated and meaningful total reward experience for our colleagues.

As a Total Reward Design and Delivery Analyst, you will play a key supporting role in shaping our total reward priorities and designing and delivering initiatives that create an outstanding reward experience, supporting both our colleagues and our strategic business ambitions.

Through developing your conceptual thinking and analytical capability, you will help the business navigate change and manage risk, ensuring our total reward practices remain future-proofed, customer-centric, and aligned to improved business performance.

What you’ll be doing

•Work as part of the Design and Delivery team, supporting key products and programmes across Organisational Design, Total Reward and Employee Relations.
•Support colleague-centric, data-led benefit initiatives that enable employees to maximise the value of their total reward offering.
•Partner with external benefits providers, Centres of Excellence and business stakeholders to identify improvements and recommend changes that enhance the effectiveness of total reward offerings.
•Collaborate with CoE colleagues to design and deliver inclusive total reward education initiatives that meet the evolving needs of colleagues and the business.
•Develop and maintain a total reward learning journey across the colleague lifecycle, ensuring employees understand and value their reward offering.
•Act as a Reward subject matter expert, sharing external insights and best practice to strengthen reward capability across People & Culture and the wider business.
•Support the upskilling of People & Culture teams and business leaders by providing tools, guidance and training to improve reward understanding and decision-making.
•Act as a trusted advisor to the business, ensuring reward and benefits offerings (including pensions) remain compliant, competitive and aligned to organisational objectives.

Essential Skills / Experience

•Storytelling with data/business insights (Intermediate): Translates total reward data and insights into clear, compelling, customer-centric narratives tailored to different audiences. Demonstrates intermediate capability in using analytical tools and Excel to interpret data and support decision-making.
•Change and project delivery (Intermediate): Works collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver total reward cyclical activities and change initiatives. Understands project and change management methodologies and has experience supporting the successful delivery of change.
•Technical benefits knowledge (Intermediate): Supports the design, operation and optimisation of colleague benefit programmes through effective governance, supplier management, lifecycle administration, data accuracy, compliance controls and colleague-centred service delivery.

Desirable Skills / Experience

•Has experience working in an HR, Finance, Commercial or Consulting environment, with exposure to commercial analysis, data reporting and generating insights to support decision-making.
•Supports the effective governance and risk management of benefit plans through reporting, identifying operational improvements, and highlighting people and operational risks.
•Has experience supporting the delivery of agile projects or workstreams, coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
•Has experience maintaining policies, programmes and colleague experience initiatives, translating complex concepts into clear, engaging communications.
•Understands the key elements of total reward, including base pay, annual bonus, long-term incentives, benefits, recognition, and annual and family leave. Has experience supporting an annual reward cycle, such as pay review and/or benefits cycles.
•Supports CoE programmes of work through research, consultation, design and iteration, helping to develop solutions that meet colleague needs and business requirements.
•Builds effective relationships with stakeholders across the business, collaborating to deliver change initiatives and ensuring colleague and business perspectives are understood and considered.
