Why this job matters
This role is responsible for conducting the Test function for the key Government Defence contract. This is a mission critical function due to the significance and profile of the contracts supported.
Role holder will lead a team of highly experienced Test Specialists and Professionals that are responsible for ensuring that new and changed services are tested to the right quality standards so as to mitigate potential impact of related service incidents.
This role is based in Hemel Hempstead. Hybrid ( 3 days office based & 2 days remote) Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Must be UK resident for 5+ years in order to obtain SC clearance.
What you’ll be doing
- Accountable for ensuring new and changed services are tested to the right quality standards so as to mitigate potential impact of related service incidents.
- Accountable for the integrity of the test scripts developed by the team, ensuring they meet customer expectations and are fit for purpose.
- Accountable for the integrity and maintenance of BT test environments.
- Responsible for the development / implementation of test strategy and test plan documentation. Will also provide test specific bid response detail - working with the customer / legal team to develop bid content.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Test resources are security cleared at the appropriate level.

Flexible Working
This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
