Your Role and Responsibilities

Are you a passionate technical architect with focus on Cloud Infrastructure? Our Technical Design Team is on the front line of helping customers succeed using Multi Cloud and Hybrid Cloud. Cloud Infrastructure Technical Design Team members leverage their hands-on experiences with our sales leads and partner ecosystem to propose transformational solutions to BT’s global customers.

This is not a sales role, it is an individual with relevant expertise and hands-on, coupled with business acumen, and passion for continued knowledge acquisition and growth in the field of Cloud and Data Center underlay across compute, storage/backup and networking.

What you’ll be doing

As a key member of a global team, provide overall support to technical solutions within the Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure product domain.

  • Own the technical solution design.
  • Lead the technical qualification discussions.
  • Provide technical consultancy.
  • Propose secure, reliable, and scalable designs that meet the BT product offering.
  • Consultant to implementation.
  • Work together with Product Managers in product enhancement and portfolio development activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to represent BT and drive technical discussions with senior personnel. Prior technical consulting experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years of technical design experience at least two of the following: compute, storage, backup, networking, hyperconverged, CNF.
  • Experience in Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Multi Cloud, Private Cloud, containers, security, automation/DevOps.
  • Vertical knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies.
  • One or more industry certifications: VMware, AWS, Azure, DC switching including Cisco ACI.
