About the role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Supply Chain Consultant with strong expertise in SAP SD and MM, capable of driving end to end business process design, implementation, and integration in a large, complex landscape with multiple non SAP systems.
The role requires deep retail industry process knowledge, strong understanding of master data management, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, integration teams, and delivery partners.

What you’ll be doing

Key Responsibilities
Business Engagement & Process Ownership
• Act as primary SAP Supply Chain subject matter expert, engaging with retail business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and formalize business requirements.
• Drive end to end sales, procurement, and inventory processes, ensuring alignment with retail business needs.
• Lead workshops and discussions to map as is and to be processes across order to cash and procure to pay cycles.
Solution Design & Configuration
• Own solution design across SAP SD and MM, including pricing, availability, inventory, logistics, procurement, and billing processes.
• Perform hands on SAP configuration and guide technical developments where required.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, standardized, and aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.
Integration & Complex Landscape Management
• Work in a large integration environment involving multiple non SAP systems (POS, eCommerce, warehouse, logistics, third party vendors).
• Collaborate closely with integration teams (PI/PO, CPI, APIs, middleware) to ensure robust and reliable end to end data flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross system integration issues impacting business operations.
Retail Industry & Master Data Management
• Apply strong retail domain expertise, including:
o Store operations
o Pricing and promotions
o Inventory and replenishment
o Vendor and logistics correlative

• Drive master data governance across materials, customers, vendors, pricing, and organizational data.
• Ensure data consistency and quality across SAP and non SAP systems.
Testing, Cutover & Go Live
• Lead and coordinate:
o Integration System Testing (IST)
o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
o Defect management and resolution
• Prepare and execute cutover and Go Live plans, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Support post Go Live stabilization and hyper care activities.
Service Management & Continuous Improvement
• Support and guide SAP SD/MM service operations, ensuring:
o Timely resolution of incidents and problems
o Efficient handling of changes and enhancements
o Continuous improvement of supply chain processes
• Provide functional leadership to junior consultants and support teams

Essential Skills / Experience

Functional Expertise
• 8–12+ years of SAP experience with hands on expertise in SAP SD and MM.
• Strong understanding of retail supply chain processes and end to end business flows.
• Good experience in master data management and governance.
Integration & Technical Exposure
• Experience working in highly integrated environments with multiple non SAP systems.
• Good understanding of SAP integration mechanisms (PI/PO, CPI, APIs, IDocs, interfaces).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and integration teams.
Delivery & Leadership
• Experience leading end to end implementations and major enhancements.
• Strong skills in:
o Requirements gathering
o Solution design
o Documentation (BRD, FSD, process flows)
o IST, UAT, and Go Live execution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain implementations or transformations.
• Exposure to global retail operations and omni channel scenarios.
• SAP SD/MM or S/4 certifications.
