This role holder will be managing multiple project deliveries, [Agile/Hybrid], Legacy Application Closures and subsequent decommissions. Acceleration for simplification of current Products not only through collaboration with business stakeholders and Delivery Unit leads but Architects, Test Automation, COO etc. Across B2B. Create & manage Roadmaps for legacy estate modernization/Transformation, Move to strategic/Migration/Cost transformation roadmap across streams & help business achieve their strategic goal at pace. Promoting and accelerating the move to the new strategic Platform solutions while managing various existing product Deliveries - across Digital Channel, reporting through JIRA.
What you’ll be doing
• Delivers engineering capabilities linked with transformation/Modernization strategy, managing multiple application closures and demand across digital channels by implementing means of measurability and predictability.
• Improvement Proposition: Collaborate with the Delivery Units and technology teams to identify key opportunities to reduce anomalies & suggest ways to improve delivery.
• Capability analysis of existing and future roadmap technology against the commercial and customer experience ambitions of Enterprise. Coordinate proof of concepts to validate the business case.
• Communications: Establish consistent approaches to keeping key senior stakeholders across Technology and Business engaged in strategy and present delivery, including running workshops and meetings.
• Delivery Assurance: Works with people across Business Digital and Technology to ensure strategy execution, and delivering improvements when needed.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communicator, able to build relationships, influence and facilitate decision-making across multiple stakeholders, up to at least Director level across Business Digital.
• Ability to cut through complex issues and dive action oriented progress. Programme planning (in Jira)
• Experience of driving IT transformation, including identification and management of dependencies & risks
• Action-oriented: Identifies issues and takes ownership to get to the root cause and address to improve processes and outcome.
• Experience in delivering change : Experience in progressing projects from conception to closure.
• Led at least 2–3 transitions/cutovers for legacy decommission or platform migration with quantifiable benefits (cost take-out, risk reduction, MTTR, cycle-time).
• Thoroughly planned, developed, executed and delivered releases and migrations for critical services, with cutover rehearsal and rollback plans.
• Established monthly/quarterly transformation scorecards and benefit tracking with Finance, COO, Business linking to OKRs and validated cost outputs.
The skills you’ll need to succeed
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and collaborate with internal/external teams
• Analytical and Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security risks.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensuring right level of governance model throughout the programme.
• Knowledge of AI tools to build a dependency map, prepare roadmaps, produce decomm plans, Reporting, database/interface/capabilities specifications & inter-dependencies etc for project deliveries.
• Enables migration strategy with management of multiple Application Closures and subsequent decommission of Legacy applications.
• Executes complex technical decisions in line with defined architecture for a wide range of high-performance products, capabilities, and platforms, effectively balancing short-term and long-term Goals.
• Manage and control of digital initiatives and ensures that the organization's investments in digital technologies align with its overall strategic objectives.
• Coach squads on AI-assisted discovery, documentation and AIOps practices; embed continuous-improvement metrics in hypercare.
• Delivered AI-generated runbooks/plans, checklists and comms packs that accelerated ORR/ORB readiness and closure roadmaps.
Experience you’d be expected to have
• Engg Graduate. Telecom Domain Preferred but Open to any Domain.
• Expert knowledge of Agile / Scaled Agile, ways of working. Not a Scrum Master.
• Project Management Methodologies, Team leadership Experience
• Has hands-on experience in IT/Digital transformation/ Delivery.
• Expert in SDLC, Working knowledge on JIRA implementations.
• Good knowledge on Cloud Technology & DevOPs.
• Must have good analytical & Negotiation skills.
• Project / Programme management (Waterfall and Agile)
• Matrix management and stakeholder skills
