Flexible Working
The BT group operates a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.

About the role

In a fast-moving and highly regulated market, our pricing decisions must deliver sustainable commercial value while achieving positive and fair outcomes for customers.

As Senior Manager Pricing & Regulatory, you will lead our pricing and regulatory agenda across multiple brands, products and customer groups. You will set the strategic direction for pricing, provide expert leadership on regulatory matters and help the business respond effectively to changes in the external environment.

A central part of the role is leading the end-to-end annual price change programme across our brands and products. You will bring together teams from across the organisation to develop the strategy, assess customer and commercial impacts, meet our legal and regulatory commitments and oversee successful delivery.

You will use complex pricing, customer and performance data to identify opportunities, build robust business cases and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders. Working closely with Commercial, Product, Brand, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing and Operational teams, you will ensure our pricing decisions are commercially sound, compliant and aligned with our commitment to customer fairness.

You will also lead and develop a specialist team, creating clear priorities and providing the direction needed to deliver complex, high-impact programmes across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead pricing and regulatory initiatives across BT's products and brands, balancing commercial value, customer outcomes, fairness and compliance.
  • Own the end-to-end annual price change programme, including future pricing strategy, customer communications, regulatory compliance, governance and performance optimisation.
  • Develop strategic pricing approaches across products, brands and customer segments, including fixed-price capability, household strategies and the management of pricing differentials between new and existing customers.
  • Lead the evolution of pricing terms and conditions, social tariffs and responses to emerging regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with legal, compliance and policy obligations.
  • Drive pricing optimisation initiatives that improve commercial performance, customer retention and long-term customer value.
  • Partner across Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Operations and Marketing teams to influence strategic decisions and deliver customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Make recommendations on pricing trade-offs, regulatory risk, customer impacts and fairness considerations, providing expert challenge and direction to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a specialist team, setting priorities, building capability and ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical pricing and regulatory programmes.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Significant experience leading pricing and regulatory activity within telecommunications or another complex regulated industry.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience interpreting complex data, building business cases and turning insight into clear recommendations.
  • Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders across commercial, legal, regulatory and corporate functions.

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Experience working within telecommunications pricing and the UK regulatory environment.
  • Experience leading annual price change programmes or other complex pricing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and customer fairness requirements within regulated consumer markets.
  • Experience developing pricing strategies across multiple brands, products or customer groups.
  • Experience leading teams through organisational or business transformation.
