About the role

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for translating business strategy and market insight into impactful marketing plans that drive product adoption and growth. By coordinating go-to-market activities, supporting launches, and ensuring clear, differentiated messaging, this role helps BT’s propositions succeed in a competitive market.

This role works cross-functionally to align teams, solve complex challenges, and optimise marketing performance—making a direct contribution to business results. This position is essential for connecting strategy to execution, supporting the wider product marketing vision, and ensuring that marketing activities deliver measurable value for customers and the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Translate business and product strategy into actionable marketing plans and go-to-market activities.
  • Coordinate and deliver product launches, ensuring clear positioning and messaging across channels.
  • Gather and apply market and customer insights to shape campaigns and drive adoption.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and enablement teams to align on priorities and execution.
  • Manage campaign performance, track KPIs, and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.
  • Support the development of sales tools and content to enable successful customer engagement.
  • Solve problems and remove barriers to ensure marketing activities are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture, sharing best practice and supporting colleagues.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Experience working in a product marketing or related marketing role, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.
  • Proven track record of supporting or delivering product launches and go-to-market activities.
  • Background in gathering and applying market, customer, or competitor insights to inform marketing plans.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills to coordinate campaigns and launches.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, able to craft clear messaging and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as product, sales, or enablement to deliver projects.
  • Hands-on involvement in campaign management, including tracking performance and reporting on results.
  • Commercial awareness, understanding how marketing drives business outcomes.

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Experience with public and private sector communications
  • Previous telecommunications industry experience
