Job Description

Why this job matters

This role will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of data-driven media products tailored to advertising agencies and brands. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and engineering, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Your role will involve deep engagement with customers to understand their needs, drive product innovation, and ensure successful market adoption. You will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from.

Key elements of the role include:

Product strategy and vision

  • Define the media product strategy and vision working with cross functional teams.

Product lifecycle management (from ideation to sunset)

  • Managing of the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and development through to launch, performance measurement, continuous improvement and decommission.

Backlog management and prioritisation

  • Management of the backlog and supporting all agile ceremonies with the delivery manager. Support the quarterly review and prioritisation plans.

Product discovery and validation (experiments, MVP, data tests, etc.)

  • Perform customer product discovery to validate key hypotheses, validation of experiments and jobs to be done.

Product user and market research (quali and quanti)

  • Support user research working alongside with user research teams to identify opportunity and validate product bets.

The skills & experience you'll need

The ideal candidate will have had experience working for media and advertising companies – ideally online advertising, ad agency or inventory owner.

Key Skills

  • Data and metrics-driven: Understanding of how data is used by media owners, brands and agencies to plan the effective use of media assets. Ideally in OOH, TV or via the use of AdTech (SSP’s or DSPs) and measure attribution.
  • Stakeholder management: strong relationship skills to work across organisational boundaries and influence stakeholders across complex corporate structures.
  • Collaboration: Cross collaboration working closely with engineering, design, data, operations, marketing, and sales to bring products to market and scale them
  • Resilience: high levels of resilience to engage positively in challenging situations.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Thrives on early stage of product development. Happy to test, learn & validate as well as execute go‑to‑market strategies that accelerate adoption and growth
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with sales teams and clients. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product strategies.

Experience

  • Experience in product management, particularly with B2B SaaS data-driven products.
  • Experience of product management methodologies and (Lean Startup, SCRUM, Kanban, KANO, etc) and agile delivery in a multi squad, data science and engineering environments.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, data-driven insights to inform prioritisation/ pivoting, or scaling decisions.
  • Understanding of geospatial and MND data, including footfall, dwells + weblogs data.
  • Knowledge of the technology and telco sectors.
