About the role

As our Pricing Framework Manager you'll lead how we price, invest, and evaluate value across our product base, inflows, outflows and regrades. You'll lead the shaping of pricing and investment frameworks that support integrating product innovation, ensuring customer needs are met while safeguarding margins and aligning with long-term strategic and financial goals.

You'll join a team who ensure our customer tariff structures are not only compelling but commercially sound, sustainable, and strategically aligned. Tariffing and investment ladders are critical levers to drive growth, profitability, and market positioning.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and evolving pricing frameworks, including policies, controls, and strategic pricing principles.
  • Designing and maintaining tools and templates that standardise how pricing is built, modelled, and approved
  • Working closely with Product, Customer Marketing, Finance, Base and Legal to ensure pricing aligns with margin targets, compliance, and regulatory needs.
  • Supporting the development of new pricing models (e.g., modular pricing, value-based pricing, upsell paths and premium outcomes).
  • Leading and supporting pricing governance forums, ensuring proposals meet framework standards before approval
  • Maintaining the pricing playbook, including segmentation rules, discount thresholds, and investment guardrails.
  • Advising teams on pricing mechanics during proposition development and product lifecycle planning.
  • Ensuring consistency of pricing logic across sales channels, systems, and customer-facing journeys

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Pricing experience managing and owning complex business cases with strong competence in using predictive modelling to aid commercial decision making.
  • Proven strong stakeholder management skills across multiple team, including Business, Finance, Trading, Product & Propositions and Tariff.
  • Proven ability to take competitor insight and turn it into tangible and commercial recommendations.

Experience you'll have

  • Strong experience in pricing, commercial governance, or strategy roles, ideally in telecoms, utilities, or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of commercial modelling, pricing mechanics, and margin structures.
  • Proven ability to build and run structured frameworks, tools, or policies across a matrix organisation
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with product, marketing, finance, legal, and operations teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process thinking.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex pricing logic

The big decisions involved in this role

  • Ownership of the end-to-end pricing framework that governs how pricing is created and approved.
  • Leadership of key pricing templates, calculators, and guidance materials.
  • Oversight of pricing controls and compliance in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Regulatory.
  • Commercial quality assurance across pricing proposals from propositions and product teams.
  • Ensuring pricing documentation and frameworks are up to date and understood by key stakeholders.
