
Partner Contract Management Specialist

Why this job matters
This role provides specialist ownership of partner contract governance, compliance assurance, and performance management across the BT and EE indirect partner channel.
You will ensure all partner contracts are correctly structured, compliant, and maintained in line with regulatory, audit, and commercial standards. Operating independently from sales delivery, the role protects governance integrity while enabling compliant partner growth.
You will oversee both pre-contract and in-life activity, ensuring partners are onboarded correctly, operate within agreed frameworks, and are managed against clear performance standards.
This role is key to supporting partner onboarding, compliance, and performance management, ensuring operational consistency and delivering the wider partner growth strategy.
What you’ll be doing
• Own end-to-end partner contract governance across BT and EE, ensuring all agreements meet legal, compliance, and audit requirements
• Lead the onboarding of new partners, including due diligence checks, contract setup, KPI definition, and approvals
• Manage contract negotiations and approvals with Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, and Sales teams
• Ensure all contracts are correctly issued, signed, stored, and fully auditable
• Own contract renewals, amendments, and changes to ensure continuity and compliance
• Manage quarterly KPI and performance
reviews, including reporting, stakeholder updates, and follow-up actions
• Produce formal performance and compliance communications where required
• Analyse contract and performance data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Oversee partner commission documentation, ensuring alignment between contracts, performance, and payments
• Maintain accurate contract records, tracking lifecycle status and key milestones
• Act as the central governance point across Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Finance
• Support the wider partner strategy by enabling compliant onboarding and scalable growth through strong governance
The skills you’ll need
• Strong experience in contract management, governance, or commercial operations within a complex organisation
• Proven ability to manage legal, compliance, and audit requirements across commercial agreements
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Compliance
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex documentation accurately
• Experience in KPI frameworks and performance management governance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive insight and improvement
• High level of ownership and ability to work independently
• Experience in telecoms, partner/indirect channels, or regulated environments
• Understanding of BT/EE partner models and contract frameworks
• Experience using contract lifecycle management or e-signature tools
• Exposure to partner onboarding and growth strategies
• Experience supporting commission structures or commercial agreements
