Why this job matters

Marketing & Commercial sits at the heart of the business to optimize our commercial outcomes taking external and internal factors into account. The area is responsible for steering the business through changes in a rapidly evolving market to be able to deliver our budget P&L ambition and deliver to our proposition, distribution and investment strategies.This role is a key element in striking the right balance between ensuring our customers’ needs are met, new and existing, in the most commercially optimal way possible using our channels and frontline feedback to help inform investment decision making.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of our P&L KPIs are across all our core trading categories (Mobile, Connected, PAYG, Home & TV)
  • You’ll lead in the creation, consolidation and management of KPI initiatives across products and teams
  • You’ll lead in the production of high quality content and papers for Consumer Exec Board updates to relay trading performance, risks and opportunities working alongside the trading teams
  • You’ll lead in the creation of a birds-eye view of our P&L performance across categories taking in the trading and base performance
  • You’ll be responsible for ensuring across Mobile, Broadband, Connected & PAYG that the right content, messages and actions are elevated
  • You’ll work with your peers across the brand and pricing teams to ensure that the overall Consumer P&L outcomes are on track and delivering on our growth plans and ambition

What skills you’ll need

  • Ability to take complex information or data and create clear and understandable outputs, e.g. PowerPoint
  • Commercially literate to understand the impact of various inputs on our P&L performance
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment including quick decision making
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines of weekly governance
  • Superb stakeholder management skills across all directorates
  • Strong communication skills to be able to clearly articulate complex issues, dependencies and influence to gain alignment on recommendations
