Why this job matters

We are recruiting an OSS Design Lead to join BT's OSS Design & Delivery team. You will be accountable for the OSS Design and Delivery of the Next Generation OSS E2E Solution in the areas Orchestration, Resource planning, Inventory, Workflow and Activation.


Define and drive OSS Solution Design and roadmap in Orchestration, Resource planning, Inventory, Workflow and Activation OSS sub-domains in-line with enterprise architecture of BT and collaborate with wider stakeholders in networks, OSS, BSS & CFU teams to drive future innovations.


The role holder meets business objectives, solves business problems, and furthers business success by applying industry, applications, and technical knowledge through the definition of high-level and Low Level solutions designs.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for Network OSS Design specially in Infrastructure Plan & Build, Inventory, Business Process & Workflow Automation, Activation, Orchestration and Fulfillment
  • Define OSS Solution for IP/MPLS, Access, Transmission Networks, and SDN/NFV based converged network.
  • Drive E2E Solution Design for BT Critical Programs like Mobile Backhaul Services, Unified Connectivity and Next Gen OSS Platform Tools and Architecture etc..
  • Focus area will be network OSS fulfilment & planning domains, specifically Logical & Physical Resource Plan & Build and inventory management areas of Networks.
  • Drive how OSS and BSS interwork E2E to support digital transformation and transformation in the Customer user experience.
  • Drive Telecom technologies and standards such as BPMN, CI/CD, NetDevOps etc in Digital OSS transformation.
  • Hands-on person who will define OSS Solution design and holds expertise inwriting functional specification, system & interface specification, HLD and Detailed design for OSS systems as required.
  • Define Network OSS solution based on Vendor and Platform agnostic.
