About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Design Specialist who can architect advanced service assurance and observability solutions across hybrid and cloud native environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on expertise in automation (Ansible), CI/CD (Jenkins), modern observability stacks, and Kubernetes.
This role blends Service Assurance, Observability, Cloud native engineering, and industry standard frameworks (TMF). Exposure to Autonomous Networks and AI driven automation is a significant advantage.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and deliver end to end Service Assurance and Observability architectures covering metrics, logs, traces, events, topology, and reporting.
• Implement and scale cloud native observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
• Architect solutions aligned to TMF Open Digital Architecture (ODA) and TM Forum standards.
• Build automation frameworks using Ansible, including playbooks, roles, reusable automation modules, and orchestration patterns.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins for continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment of automation artefacts.
• Design observability and monitoring integrations for Kubernetes and containerized microservices.
• Produce high quality HLDs, LLDs, test plans, deployment patterns, and operational handover artefacts.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and operations teams to ensure operational readiness and seamless service integration.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives around AI assisted assurance, AIOps, and Autonomous Network evolution.

Essential Skills / Experience

• 10–15 years of deep hands on experience in Service Assurance and Network Management Systems.
• Strong expertise in cloud native observability stacks, including:
o Prometheus / Grafana
o OpenTelemetry (OTLP metrics, logs, traces)
o Jaeger / Tempo for distributed tracing
• Strong automation capabilities with Ansible (roles, playbooks, modular design).
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins (pipelines, integrations, automated deployments).
• Strong knowledge and a fair bit of hands on expertise in Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of TM Forum standards, including:
o TMF Open APIs (TMF628, TMF638, TMF642, etc.)
o ODA architecture concepts
o Service orchestration and assurance principles
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, SDWAN, routing, switching).
• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable architecture and design blueprints.
• Understanding of microservices, APIs, event driven architectures, and cloud native design patterns.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Knowledge of Autonomous Networks maturity models, intents, closed loop automation, and L0–L4 autonomy concepts.
• Experience with AI/ML or AIOps solutions, including anomaly detection and predictive assurance.
• Exposure to service modelling, topology modelling, and assurance data pipelines.
