Why this job matters

In this role, you'll be at the heart of driving SMB growth through our affiliate partner network. You'll own the performance of key affiliate channels, building strong relationships and ensuring partners deliver great commercial results while supporting BT's wider business goals.

You'll use data and insights to identify opportunities, optimise performance, and quickly tackle any areas of underperformance. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll help create a high-performing affiliate ecosystem that delivers revenue growth, great customer outcomes, and long-term value.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking, relationship management, and performance optimisation to make a real impact.

What you’ll be doing

• Take ownership of the commercial performance of our affiliate partners, driving revenue growth and delivering against key business targets.

• Build strong relationships with partner stakeholders, working collaboratively to maximise performance while providing constructive challenge when needed.

• Use data, insights, and market trends to identify opportunities, solve performance issues, and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead regular performance and business reviews, ensuring clear accountability, transparency, and delivery against agreed objectives.

• Work closely with Sales, Trading, and other internal teams to align strategies and optimise channel performance.

• Negotiate commercial agreements, incentives, and initiatives that create value for both BT and our partners.

• Proactively manage underperformance, developing and implementing recovery plans to improve results.

• Identify and deliver improvements to partner processes, operating models, and ways of working.

• Support forecasting, governance activities, and wider SMB growth and improvement projects.

• Influence decisions on partner targets, performance interventions, commercial incentives, and the resolution of contractual or performance-related issues.

The skills you’ll need

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

• Commercially minded, with a good understanding of products, pricing strategies, and market trends.

• Skilled negotiator, able to deliver positive commercial outcomes while building and maintaining strong partner relationships.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, collaborate with, and challenge senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Comfortable managing difficult conversations, addressing performance issues professionally and constructively.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and making sound decisions under pressure.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a simple and engaging way.

• Results-driven, proactive, and focused on delivering continuous improvement and business growth.
