You’ll play a key role in monitoring contract performance, working with stakeholders to manage risks, and supporting solutions that protect the organisation’s commercial interests.

Working closely with commercial, programme, legal, finance, procurement, and operational teams, you’ll help ensure contracts are delivered successfully while building strong relationships across the business.

• Manage the administration, renewal, and ongoing lifecycle of customer and supplier contracts.
• Monitor contract performance, including obligations, milestones, deliverables, and key dates, ensuring actions and issues are identified and addressed.
• Support monthly billing, financial forecasting, and the management of contract P&L performance, including monitoring revenue, costs, and commercial risks.
• Maintain contract governance processes, ensuring contracts and amendments are managed in line with internal requirements.
• Prepare contract updates, change proposals, notices, and other contractual communications.
• Work with internal teams to support successful contract delivery and identify opportunities to improve contract management processes.
• Support the identification, assessment, and management of contractual and commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Maintain risk and issue registers, ensuring risks are regularly reviewed and mitigation actions are progressed.
• Assist with the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
• Monitor emerging contract issues, escalating key risks where required.
• Support internal and external governance activities to strengthen contract risk management.

The skills you’ll need

• Experience supporting commercial or contract management activities.
• Good understanding of contract lifecycle management principles.
• Experience identifying and managing commercial and contractual risks.
• Ability to analyse contractual information and communicate findings clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
