We are looking for Regulatory Reporting Apprentice to join us from September 2024.

What you will be working on
The Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and submission of statutory returns for Lloyd’s (including Solvency II returns) and the BMA, and statutory accounts for Brit and KI’s Lloyd’s Syndicates and Syndicate related legal entities.
The primary purpose of this role is to assist with the preparation and completion of submissions, assist with operating and developing streamlined processes and provide key analytics and information on data reported, closely liaising with the Assistant Syndicate Accountant / Syndicate Accountant in fulfilling team and individual responsibilities.
About you
This is a great opportunity for someone who can assist in the preparation of a wide range of regulatory returns and statutory accounts for at least one of the Syndicate pillars.
You’ll assist with additional returns as and when required.
You’ll assist in answering external audit questions as and when they arise, this would be good opportunity for someone with good interpersonal skills, and a team player.
An exciting opportunity for a person that can extract data from source systems, apply appropriate adjustments transparently and provide outputs and analysis to support the submission of the regulatory returns.

Brit’s Apprenticeship Scheme – how it works:

This helps you create your best first impression – and brings you up to speed with the basics of the insurance market. After that, you’ll be working as part of a team alongside our talented professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience in your chosen career path.
As part of your apprenticeship, 20% of your working week will be set aside for learning. This includes working towards a relevant qualification – with a mentor to support you through your studies. At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll transition into a role linked to your
level of experience.
