Join us as a Azure Cloud Infrastructure engineer on our Information Technology team at our Bangalore, India location to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

Role Responsibilities

• Create and manage standard Azure server images.

• Implementing security controls and adherence to compliance requirements.

• Handle Infrastructure requests from internal teams and meet SLAs.

• Monitor systems, application usage and manage cost.

• Manage and support the shared Infrastructure.

• Identify and deliver on opportunities to reduce infrastructure costs.

Requirements

• Degreed professional in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems

• Ability to thrive in an environment where critical thinking and curiosity for business challenges to pursue a solution using the collaborative environment and resources Boomi has to offer to advocate for their customers

• 3-5 years experience designing, architecting, and maintaining server solutions in Azure

• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively

• Strong technical problem-solving ability

• Aptitude for analyzing technical concepts, translating them into business terms, and mapping business requirements to a technical solution

Technical skills

• Good understanding of the Azure global infrastructure

• Hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, security, identity management, and database Azure services

• Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure

• Architect and deploy secure and robust applications on Azure technologies

• Ability to identify which Azure services meet a given technical requirement

• An understanding of network technologies as they relate to Azure.

• Good understanding of security concepts.

• Hands-on experience with the Azure CLI and SDKs/API tools

• Knowledge of monitoring logging and cost management tools that integrate with Azure

• Good knowledge of Operating systems: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, Windows

• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls)

• Scripting: Batch, Bash, PowerShell, Python.

• Source version code tools such as GIT.

• Automation: Ability to script and automate repetitive tasks so as to be able to solve other challenging problems.

Additional Valuable skills

• Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins or Nexus.

• Knowledge of AWS and Google cloud-based infrastructure

• Experience with Directory Services

• General knowledge of common business systems (SAP, CRM, SFA, ERP) and processes (lead to cash, requisitions, order management, etc.)

• Understanding of enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns including ESB, MOM, JMS, SOAP/REST web services, databases, and ETL

• Database skills including SQL, data modeling, and databases (e.g.) MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle

• Boomi AtomSphere Certified - Integration Developer
