About the OPPORTUNITY
We are currently looking for a Storeperson to join our team based in Mawson Lakes.
Reporting to Warehouse & Repairable Supervisor (WRS) & Despatch Officer the primary responsibility is general stores, inventory control and supply support administration. The role will work under the direction of the Warehouse & Repairable Supervisor to assist and maintain Support Systems, Capabilities and Logistical Elements within the project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organise and maintain agreed store levels, warehousing of spares and test equipment inventory.
- Ensure data integrity is upheld within SAP and MAXIMO by conducting regular Stock Counts as per the Stocktake plan.
- In process and Final inspection of assets with specific attention to packaging requirements.
- Receive, inspect and receipting of incoming goods and materials.
- Picking, packing and dispatch of materials to operational areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement.
- Answering e-mails and phone calls on a wide range of issues including stock availability, delivery time frames and inbound goods and equipment.
- Conduct inventory transactions using BAE Systems Maintenance and Inventory Management System.
About YOU
- Previous experience in a similar role in a defence environment will be highly regarded.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Provide input and offer recommendations to improve Company processes, systems and standard procedures.
