Job Title: Senior Secretarial Administrator

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. (On-site)

Salary: £28,636

What you’ll be doing:

  • Undertaking a range of specific secretarial and administrative duties to provide support to Senior Managers and management teams and contribute to the smooth running of the department
  • Supporting and controlling diary management and meeting requirements for line manager ensuring appropriate time management to allow adequate meeting preparation
  • Arranging and co-ordinating travel requirements and associated costs using Company systems, working to budget constraints and optimising use of Manager’s time
  • Effectively liaising with all stakeholders to ensure a proactive response to inquiries and the exchange of information, while maintaining efficient and professional communication
  • Proactively facilitating any health and safety actions in support of a compliant office environment
  • Providing comprehensive support during plan-of-the-day meetings by taking detailed minutes, ensuring accurate documentation of discussions and decisions and actively participating in the meetings when required

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience in providing secretarial support to a Senior Manager, or significant experience in providing an administrative service
  • Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in minute-taking and diary management
  • Proficient in MS Office, with expertise in Word and PowerPoint
  • Proactive mindset with strong organisational skills
