Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quality Manager – AUKUS Integration

Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Fulltime onsite)

Salary: From £60,500 + car allowance (DOE)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reporting to the Head of Quality – SSNA Programme, you will lead a global long-term strategy that delivers excellence aligned with organisational priorities

  • Leading collaboration with other Integrated Project Teams, business functions and industrial partners to integrate working pathways for programme success

  • Providing strategic and operational leadership and management to an organisation of multi-disciplined diverse professional resource base

  • Applying a continuous improvement approach, identifying new technology which will advance the future ways of working

  • Developing Quality Management Plans; creating and maintaining Assurance Schedules including associated audits

  • Building strong, collaborative relationships across international teams and influencing quality recommendations for the programme

Your skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Ability to lead complex quality investigations using Root Cause Analysis methods and techniques

  • Capable of setting and verifying strategic actions to benefit strategic growth and risk and issue management

  • Ability to define, deploy and utilise Key Performance Indicators to highlight quality risks and vulnerabilities across a range of stakeholders

  • Degree level qualified, or equivalent professional experience

Desirable:

  • Experience of working closely with Quality organisations

  • Member of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or equivalent professional body
