Job Description
Job Title: Quality Controller
Location: Samlesbury-On site We offer a range flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £49,400+ Dependent of experience
What you’ll be doing
- Act as the liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring timely implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions
- Support non-conformance processes, ensuring full compliance with established quality standards and procedures
- Analyse and report quality performance metrics to the senior management team, providing clear insights and recommendations for improvement
- Support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the Quality system through audit and process confirmation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance performance and actively promoting a Zero Defect culture
Your skills and experiences
Essential
- Quality or Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting within a highly regulated environment
- Relevant apprenticeship or degree
- Previous experience of reporting and delivering information between key stakeholders
Desirable
- A background within aerospace products and/or processes
- Experience with toolsets such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Knowledge of AS9100 rev D
