Salary: £49,400+ (DOE)

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will place purchase contracts and purchase orders in a timely way, ensuring all activity aligns with procurement and supplier governance requirements, including supplier accreditation and export controls

  • You’ll also monitor and share supplier performance measures, including delivery schedules, overdue reduction, invoice accuracy, and quality outcomes
  • You will be working closely with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure supplied parts meet business and customer requirements
  • You’ll collaborate across the Air business with teams such as S&OP, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance
  • You will keep ERP system data accurate and up to date, ensuring this is reflected correctly in Air reporting and Tableau dashboards and supports agreed performance measures
  • You will also travel to UK and international suppliers (including the US) to support business, order book, and performance review meetings (typically 3–4 times per year)

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Practical experience in supply chain order book activity, including monitoring large volumes of purchase orders, supplier updates, queries, and invoices, across both production and in-service environments
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication, alongside a continuous improvement mindset and experience identifying opportunities to improve ways of working
  • Comfortable using ERP systems (such as Infor LN) and digital tools, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to maintain order book systems, update SORs, review data, and present recommendations through reports and presentations
  • Experience negotiating delivery schedules and critical requirements with suppliers to support business needs

Desirable:

  • Experience using Tableau or similar reporting tools
  • Exposure to US contracting behaviours and requirements
  • Working towards or holding a professional procurement or business qualification (such as MCIPS)

Benefits:

The TFE Team manages the procurement, coordination, and delivery of equipment across the F-35 production line, supporting multi-continental operations with Lockheed Martin. The team ensures that new platforms and systems are supplied accurately and on time, maintaining seamless integration across international stakeholders.

Working within a fast-paced production environment, the team oversees delivery standards, monitors supply chain performance, and supports the continuous flow of materials and equipment required for F-35 programmes. With collaboration across the UK, US, and international partners, the TFE Team plays a key role in enabling successful, on-schedule production of advanced aerospace platforms.
