Job Title: Scheduling Manager
Location: Warton, with some travel to Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £63,900 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and execute a non-recurring plan of activities to establish the schedule of schedules
- Manage the team to achieve both a monthly cycle of scenario modelling and also support Line of Business Project Teams in establishing adequate schedules to enable a viable schedule of schedules
- Lead the configuration, running and analysis of modelling scenarios
- Maintains the schedule of schedules monthly, reflecting any movements as a result of operational changes and producing narrative/analysis as required
- Act in accordance with the Air Scheduling Policy at all times
- Support the Head of Project Control as the scheduling Subject Matter Expert for DDT&E
Your skills and experiences:
- Degree level qualification and relevant Project Management qualifications, or equivalent experience
- Experienced scheduling professional with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Project, Deltek OpenPlan or Primavera P6
- Able to resolve project-related problems that do not have routine solutions, but the norm is to follow established procedures
- Experience of complex engineering development programmes is highly desirable
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to persuade and influence internal & external stakeholders, contract owners and engineering teams

The DDT&E Scheduling team:
Situated within a diverse organisation of over 2000 Engineers, the DDT&E Scheduling team will comprise of 5 direct reports into a Scheduling Manager and report into the Head of Project Control and Planning for DDT&E
