Job Title: Project Scheduler
Location: Portsmouth Naval Base. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £53,000 dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and maintaining schedules as required using Microsoft Project and other business approved software
- Liaising with project stakeholders to make sure that schedule information is correct
- Reporting schedule slippages to the senior project team
- Assessing the impact of change to the schedule
- Producing schedule metrics to include critical paths and resource profiles
Your skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of ship repair process through proven experience (Trades/RN)
- IT Literate with common Windows packages
- Ability to communicate on different levels to either gain or report relevant information

The scheduling team:
The scheduling team in Warship Support are responsible for providing all schedule requirements across all platforms that are supported by Portsmouth Naval Base. This includes the accurate reporting of project dates and working on recovery plans where changes impact key milestones. As a scheduler you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders from the PM and delivery areas, building a valuable skill base from which to seek more senior positions.
