Service Delivery Lead
Job Description
Job Title: Service Delivery Lead – FCAS /FalconWorks & US Programmes (3 roles)
Location: Warton / Salmsbury
Salary: £63,900+
What you’ll be doing:
- Hold the primary interface with the Lines of Business on behalf of DDT&E (Design, Development, Test and Evaluation)
- Responsible for the Programme Management of the projects that DDT&E discharges
- Capture and sequence New Business and Change requirements including accurate demand for Highly Probable and Probable work, providing harmonised DDT&E responses
- Work in conjunction with the Delivery Teams to drive and improve performance, working with key internal and external stakeholders to understand and resolve issues along with the agreement and direction on prioritisation of work within DDT&E
- Accountable on behalf of DDT&E into the Line of Business and Air System Integration Team (ASIT) reviews and interactions
- Provide the combined DDT&E Cost, Schedule and Quality reporting for programmes within your area of responsibility through internal and external reviews
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Knowledge and experience of Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), Contract Status Review (CSR), resource planning, and change management
- Background in Project Management delivery/Operation delivery
- Ability to act on behalf of and represent DDT&E in both local and senior reviews with the Lines of Business
- Strong relationship and leadership management skills across a large and varied stakeholder group
- Experience with Lifecycle Management and Technical Bid Reviews
Desirable:
- Project Management qualification (PM qualification) or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of Engineering programmes

The Service Delivery team:
The Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDT&E) organization is a dynamic engineering force of over 2,000 professionals, dedicated to delivering innovative projects across multiple aircraft platforms, including Typhoon, Tornado, Hawk, F-35, FalconWorks (The agile innovation powerhouse of the Air sector, focussing on early life-cycle development of game changing technologies that shape the future) and FCAS (Future Combat Air System – This is the delivery of the next generation combat air capability through crewed aircraft, un-crewed platforms, networks and data sharing) and US programmes (focus on manufacture, capability and support for F35, along with support services to US AV88 and T-45 Goshawk Programmes)
With a mission to drive excellence in aviation, DDT&E covers everything from initial design to rigorous testing and evaluation. The organization is structured into five Centres of Excellence: Test and Evaluation, Mission and Information Systems, Flight Sciences, Advanced Aero Structures, and Operations.
