From the depths of the ocean, to the far reaches of space, there’s no limit to where a career at BAE Systems could take you.

What you’ll be doing :

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in data, reporting and business analytics. Working alongside Supply Chain Optimisation Analysts, you will gain hands-on experience with Tableau, reporting automation, data validation and insight generation while taking ownership of key business reporting processes. As a highly visible role at the centre of business reporting, you will manage the planning, coordination, compilation and delivery of core reporting packs, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders across the organisation. Combining data analysis, stakeholder management and process ownership, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, coordinating contributors and ensuring critical reporting is delivered accurately and on schedule.

Core duties:

  • Own the end-to-end production of regular reporting packs for business stakeholders
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple teams, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Engage and manage stakeholders across functions, including sending actions and following up on deliverables
  • Validate and quality check data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reports
  • Support the evolution and improvement of reporting processes, including automation opportunities
  • Work with data analysts and business teams to ensure insights are clear, relevant and actionable
  • Support small cross-functional initiatives linked to reporting and insights delivery

Skill and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to own and deliver outputs end-to-end (e.g. reporting packs, dashboards, or recurring deliverables)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including coordinating inputs across multiple teams and confidently following up to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, dependencies, and priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to validate, sense-check, and ensure accuracy of data and reporting outputs
  • Strong Excel skills

Supply Chain Optimisation team:

You’ll be joining the Supply Chain Optimisation team, a collaborative group focused on improving visibility and performance across the supply chain. The team produces dashboards, reports and information packs (primarily using Excel and Tableau) that support decision-making across the business.
