Salary: Circa £54,000 (depending on skills and experience) + 10% bonus

Job Description:
As a member of the T45 Asset Management Platform Team. The role is responsible for the project management of material transfers; sentencing backfill options and the timely closure of directed customer requirements in both Fleet Time and Upkeep project environments. As part of materials backfill solution, you will be working closely with BAE Systems, T45 Materials procurement team, Strategic Class Authority and Royal Navy logistical and engineering support teams. Adhering to current BAE, RN and Common Support Model management processes
Core duties:
- You will support and manage customer approved material movement requests for Fleet Time and Upkeep T45 Platforms, as well as ensuring currency of associated register is maintained
- You will record, monitor and sentence to conclusion any material movement requests in support of the class
- You will work closely with MoD, Royal Navy, BAE Systems Project and COM stakeholders to derive backfill solutions
- You will hold and support BAE Systems project and customer meetings and reviews and produce weekly and monthly reports
- You will maintain effective relationships and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders to highlight progress and concerns related to associated activities
Essential Skills:
- You’ll have knowledge and experience in the Maritime sector and/or working with Ministry of Defence or wider military customer groups
- You’ll have an understanding of MoD, Royal Navy, and industry policy and processes including OPDEF, relevant to ship support and material management activities
- You’ll have a solid grasp of Royal Navy Naval Stores procedures and associated toolsets
- You’ll have a well‑established project management background and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively at all levels
The Type 45 Class Output Management team:
The T45 Class Output Management (COM) Team coordinates maintenance, engineering, and availability planning for Type 45 destroyers, ensuring work packages are delivered efficiently, risks managed, and stakeholders aligned to keep each ship operational, safe, and ready for Royal Navy tasking
