Role Description:

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to assist our Senior Project Manager – Operations and team to ensure that goals associated with assigned projects are achieved and business requirements are met. This position can support career development into Project Management.

Core Duties:

• Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to take ownership of defined workstreams or tasks
• Collate data and manage inputs into formal monthly reporting
• Collaborate and support Trade Management business units on the development and reporting of business plans
• Deliver task-based outcomes of low complexity
• Coordinate, attend and participate in all Project review meetings
• Support and co-ordination of Project Management activities
• Track, report and communicate changes in project parameters, obstacles and delays and implement appropriate mitigations
• Other duties as required to support the Senior Project Manager and team

About You:

• Previous experience in a project or business support role, and a desire to continue to develop as a junior project manager
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You enjoy working with a wide mix of stakeholders and can adapt your style to suit different people
• Naturally inquisitive and like to understand how things work. You are very comfortable asking questions, even when you’re new to a topic or speaking with senior people
• Experience co-ordinating cross-functional teams
• Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite. Familiarity with tools like SharePoint and Oracle is desirable
• Ability to hold and maintain Defence Security Clearance
