Role Description:

As the Practitioner Project Manager in our Program Reporting team, you will be working alongside a team of experts providing support to ensure that project and business requirements are met.

Your contribution will ensure the best commercial outcomes for the Customer and the business whilst contributing to the support of the Australian Defence Forces.

Core Duties:

  • Contribute to generating timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership by coordinating and consolidating inputs ensuring reporting timelines are met.
  • Assist in program review meetings, supporting effective communication of outcomes, actions, and key decisions.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, maintaining open communication channels and facilitating the timely resolution of actions, discrepancies and queries.
  • Analyse program performance data and provide insights and recommendations to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with relevant business functions to ensure data cut-offs and reporting timelines remain in alignment.
  • Contribute to action tracking in Jira and ensuring maintenance of clear, consistent process and governance documentation in Confluence.
  • Provide support in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the value and effectiveness of program performance reporting.
  • Contribute to collaboration with delivery teams to refine existing Program Performance KPIs and identify opportunities to develop new performance measures.

About You:

  • Previous experience in Project Management, Reporting or a Business Management role.
  • Ability to partner with and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverables.
  • Willingness to learn, and expand your knowledge.
  • High level writing and presentation skills that extend to clear and accurate reports appropriate for a management audience.
  • Experience co-ordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Proven contemporary knowledge and expertise in the use of Business Intelligence tools and techniques to analyse, interpret and present data in a range of formats and forums to address business needs (Desired, not essential).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, proactively collaborating with stakeholders.
  • As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
