About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced People Business Partner to join the team at Osborne and contribute to Continuous Naval Shipbuilding within Australia.
In this role, you will closely collaborate with the professional workforce and cross-functional teams, to ensure the integration of business and people plans, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in the employee experience.
The ideal candidate is a business partner who has a proven record of enabling business performance through effective partnership and excellent service delivery. Furthermore, a HR professional that thrives in a high performance / inclusive culture and working within large teams across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities:
- Operational Delivery: Providing a proactive business partnering service that meets Program workforce needs and strategic priorities
- Employee Relations: Act a point of contact for employee relations matters, working to resolve conflicts & concerns, improve the employee experience, drive employee attraction and retention performance
- People Plan Delivery: Partner with leaders to align HR initiatives and strategy with Program workforce plans, as well as contributing to functional continuous improvement
- Employee Engagement & Communication: Foster a collaborative, safe and positive culture, providing guidance, coaching leaders and support to teams on best people practice
- Workforce Mobilisation: Supporting workforce mobilisation in a period of growth and market scarcity. Working with recruitment and resourcing to identify talent pipelines, ensuring a strong supply of diverse, qualified personnel for current and future requirements
- Change Management: Enabling change management efforts by helping to drive adoption of new systems, processes, or technologies within a large corporate environment.
About YOU
- Demonstrated experience working in a HR Business Partner or Advisory role, preferably within a large, matrix organisation
- Proven team player with experience working with specialist HR functions and/or expertise
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage, coach and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business and remote teams
- Experience in managing multiple business and functional priorities
- Significant knowledge and application of HR policies, processes and practices
- Degree qualification and/or equivalent experience in related discipline
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance
