Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Health Contract Manager
Location: Warton and Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £61,110 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Advocating best practice in OH provision
- Providing OH advice to employees and Line Managers
- Supporting the HR team in the case management process
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and strategies
- Creating appropriate health campaigns aimed at improving employee’s general health in response to emerging trends and professional advice
- Using data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Nurturing proactive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate an effective service and to share best practice
- Developing, maintaining, and managing good relationships with our external health and care suppliers ensuring that our service levels are met and value for money is delivered
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Post registration qualification in occupational health or equivalent
- Experience of managing OH service provisions within company guidelines and can drive company improvement projects in relation to OH
- Good experience with company independencies, within other BU’s
- Experience dealing with senior stakeholders
Desirable:
- Registered Nurse or an equivalent qualification in occupational health sciences
- Experience of managing a team
- Knowledgeable in mental health and wellbeing

The Health & Wellbeing team:
The successful candidate will be joining a team of health & wellbeing professionals and working with the wider team of SHE professionals supporting the Air business. The team provide leadership in health & wellbeing for the Air business in addition to the implementation of improvement projects, while supporting the delivery and assurance of occupational health services and other health related services, to support international operations
