Job Description

Unmind is the leading workplace wellbeing platform, on a mission to create mentally healthy workplaces where employees can flourish.

Grounded in science and built for enterprise, we drive people-first performance at some of the world’s biggest brands, including Uber, Major League Baseball, NHS, Disney, Standard Chartered, Mediacom and British Airways.

Our services support the whole organisation with data-driven performance insights for leaders, training for managers, wellbeing tools for all employees, as well as access to a global network of accredited mental health practitioners.

Our internal standards are as high as those of our clients. We’re an ambitious VC backed software business on the exhilarating 10-100M phase of our growth journey. It’s hard and rewarding work and we’re determined to be our very best case study along the way.

Unmind believe high performance will hinge on the powerful harmony between our relentless drive for results and creating an environment that elevates our people's wellbeing. This wouldn’t be possible without a dedication to our core values:

  • Be Human
  • Grow Your Mind
  • Innovate at Speed
  • Inspire & Impact

To learn more about what these values mean to us, please visit our careers page.

Our DEI commitment

We strive to build a workplace that celebrates our differences, where every Unminder feels included, equal, seen and heard. This is true regardless of your age, race, gender identity, religion or belief, marital or parental status, disability, neurodiversity, or sexual orientation.

We’re proud of our culture, but not smug. So if there’s anything we can do to make the hiring process more accessible, just let us know when you apply, or email talent@unmind.com.

The Role – Senior Solutions Consultant

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be a key leader within the Solutions team, leveraging your deep expertise in workplace mental health, HR, learning and development, and workplace wellbeing to drive significant revenue-generating activities for Unmind. You will take on a more strategic role, handling complex projects and working closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Client Success, and Science Teams to address client challenges at a deeper, more impactful level. Your work will ensure that our solutions not only align with clients' business needs but also demonstrate clear ROI and measurable impact.

In addition to your advanced consulting responsibilities, you will lead the design, execution, and evaluation of strategic events that enhance client engagement and satisfaction. This includes overseeing both the high-level strategic planning and the detailed delivery of live events, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with our platforms and services. You will also collaborate with industry experts to develop unique, high-impact live sessions grounded in the latest scientific evidence, focusing on driving long-term client value.

You will use your extensive knowledge of psychology and commercial acumen to create and deliver compelling proposals and programs that resonate with senior decision-makers. By working directly with enterprise and strategic clients, you will showcase Unmind’s value proposition, addressing business needs creatively and demonstrating tangible outcomes. Additionally, you will spearhead consulting projects, ensuring not only successful delivery but also measurable impact and client satisfaction through strategic planning, execution, and post-implementation analysis.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Strategize: Lead the development and implementation of advanced strategies to enhance our consulting and event delivery services, focusing on ROI, impact measurement, and client retention.
  • Advise: Serve as a trusted advisor to our most senior clients, providing insights and recommendations that drive significant business outcomes. You will guide the development of sophisticated proposals, content for demonstrations, business cases, webinars, pilots, and live events.
  • Innovate: Lead the co-creation of high-impact proposals and programs, working closely with Account Executives and clients to design solutions that are not only tailored to their needs but also demonstrate clear ROI and long-term value.
  • Lead: Take ownership of strategic projects, including the development, execution, and post-event evaluation of key events. Collaborate with our Science team to ensure all content is evidence-based and aligned with the latest research.
  • Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with senior leaders across Commercial, Science, and Marketing teams to drive alignment and optimize our approach, with a focus on maximizing client impact and satisfaction.
  • Measure: Develop and implement frameworks for measuring the impact of our solutions, including ROI analysis, client feedback loops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Consult: Lead high-stakes consulting projects, ensuring strategic alignment, flawless execution, and measurable outcomes that exceed client expectations. Your work will set the standard for consulting excellence within the organization.

Skills and Experience

We believe in continuous learning and growth in every role, but the following experience is essential for this senior position:

  • Advanced Subject Matter Expertise: Master’s or PhD level education in psychology or a relevant field, with extensive applied experience in workplace mental health, HR, learning and development, or organizational psychology.
  • Strategic Event Leadership: Proven experience in leading the strategic development, execution, and evaluation of high-impact events, with a focus on demonstrating ROI and long-term value.
  • Client-Facing Excellence: You will be engaging with C-level executives and other senior stakeholders, so you must have exceptional client-facing skills, with a polished and professional demeanor, and a track record of delivering presentations and solutions to senior audiences.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills with experience in ROI measurement, impact analysis, and the development of business cases that demonstrate tangible outcomes for clients.
  • Proposal Development: Expertise in preparing and pitching complex, high-value proposals, including writing, creating, and presenting to senior clients.
  • Corporate Insight: Deep understanding of the corporate environment, particularly in relation to workplace wellbeing, HR, or L&D, and how these intersect with business objectives and performance metrics.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior consultants and lead cross-functional teams in complex, high-impact projects.
  • Consulting Excellence: Extensive experience in managing and delivering senior-level consulting projects, with a focus on strategic alignment, high-quality execution, and measurable impact.
