Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. Onsite

Salary: From £35,802 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting and delivering key risk reduction projects across facility

• Collating and analysing data and providing weekly updates for management

• Ensuring the health and safety of all team members by operating in full compliance with company policies and procedures, including supporting with risk and COSHH assessments

• Provide support to Team Leader in their absence and contributing to team development through training and upskilling team members, maintaining training records

• Liaising with internal cross functional teams to create and form solution options

• Driving continuous improvement across the work environment by identifying inefficiencies, implementing process enhancements, and fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Demonstratable experience working within Logistics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office in particular Excel

• Experience with Data analysis, interpretation and data visualisation

• Excellent stakeholder management experience with an ability to guide and influence

Desirable:

• Knowledge of SAP

The NAS (New Assembly Shop) team:

Join the NAS (New Assembly Shop) Team, playing a vital role in supporting tool stores, logistics, and material management across multiple submarine programmes. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, with opportunities to attend cross-functional meetings and be directly involved in daily build activities within a collaborative environment where you can grow your skills and make a meaningful impact. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
