Job Description

Job Title: Data Solutions Analyst – Supply Chain

Location: Barrow-In-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Occasional travel to other BAE offices across the UK is expected and expensed.

Salary: From £42,215 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Performing business and technical analysis on data solutions for the Supply Chain function, in concert with stakeholders within IM&T and the submarine delivery programmes.
  • Identifying the optimal combination of data, analytics and insight to improve the performance of the organisation. Guiding small project teams to deliver such solutions
  • Creating visualisations and analysis using SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or Excel
  • Contributing to Supply Chain Excellence by supporting activities that deliver on People, Process & Technology, ensuring the Supply Chain function is fit for the future

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Solid expertise of business requirement analysis and functional design for data solutions within a large, complex, organisation.
  • Experience performing technical analysis, alongside a good working knowledge of data processing infrastructure including ERP, Datawarehouse & Visualisation tools.
  • Experience building and publishing sophisticated insight solutions using a market leading platform such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good numerate academic qualifications

Desirable:

  • Professional Supply Chain qualifications (eg CIPS ) or equivalent Supply Chain experience
