Job title: Integration Architect

Location: Frimley or Preston – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £82,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Specifying, designing and assuring business information systems and their integration into the Enterprise that support core organisational functions across Shared Services
  • Working within Shared Services EIT Architecture Group to define robust and cost-effective solution architectures and designs to meet the business objectives and requirements of the customer, with accountability for delivery of fit for purpose solutions within a domain
  • Working closely with service and product teams and be responsible for technology roadmaps, architectural standards, compliance with legal / security requirements, design patterns, design reviews, and ongoing technical support for the service is maintained
  • Collaborating with IM&T, business functions, and key stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with strategic objectives and drive cross-functional capability development.
  • Developing future-state architectures and technology roadmaps, reducing technical debt and informing functional roadmaps for product and service evolution
  • Providing technical leadership, subject matter expertise, and support across project lifecycles and service operations

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience architecting complex solutions and desirable to have several years of experience working with integrations
  • Deep understanding of integration services, integration standards, and future-proof design patterns
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all business levels.
  • Demonstrate authoritative expertise in integration technologies, providing guidance, oversight and assurance

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of WebMethods and Axway architecture
  • TOGAF certification and degree-level qualification

The Enterprise IT Architecture Team:

In the architecture team, we are experiencing high-growth and are working across a breadth of initiatives – including several hundred apps and projects, supplier refreshes and the design and implementation of new architecture.
