HR Advisor – Manufacturing

Job title: HR Advisor – Manufacturing

Salary: £54,793+ depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting HRBPs and People Managers in planning and implementing the People and Organisation Plan for Production Operations
  • Using and understanding of the business and relationship management skills to influence, facilitate and implement change
  • Providing operational advice on a range of employment and performance issues and business change based on business needs, working in collaboration with the appropriate Centres of Expertise
  • Enabling people manager capability uplift, facilitating/supporting/coaching the manager in execution of people initiatives where necessary
  • Investigating and resolving complex generalist queries requiring business knowledge and face to face handling
  • Reviewing business related people data to identify potential implications within the business context and environment and initiate local actions to resolve these as appropriate
  • Enabling functional strength and resource resilience via support to talent, strategic workforce planning and organisational effectiveness activity
  • Channelling information to and from the Employee Service Centre and give guidance to the business on how and where to access appropriate support
  • Encouraging People Managers to adopt self-service functionality

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of working with a manufacturing organisation
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders, influencing and challenging constructively to ensure development of solutions which meet business needs
  • Ability to explain difficult and sensitive people subject matter to line managers, providing advice, guidance, coaching and direction, investigating and resolving complex people issues
  • Experience of handling and presenting data, analysing information from a variety of sources, demonstrating evidence based decision making
  • Experience of identifying People and Organisation priorities as a HR business partner, delivering operational people and organisation outcomes and reacting to business needs with some complexity involved

Desirable:

  • Human Resources or related subject degree /Associate member of the CIPD or working towards, or equivalent experience

The AIR HR Team:

As a Human Resources Advisor, you will be joining the Air HR team into a role supporting the enabling functions and lines of business within the Air sector. You will be responsible for providing a range of HR advice and guidance to various functions, leaders and people managers requiring a depth of understanding of how to operationalise, integrate and deliver HR policies, processes, projects and managing change and transformation in a business.
