Job Description

Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: RAF Lossiemouth – (You will need to travel to RAF Coningsby Mon-Thurs for up to 4 weeks for induction, all expenses paid for) – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role (You will need to travel to RAF Coningsby Mon-Thurs for up to 4 weeks for induction, expenses paid for)

Salary: £50,569+ (DOE)

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll partner with the HR Manager and People Managers to plan and deliver the People Plan across the business or business unit
  • Using your understanding of the organisation, you’ll build secure working relationships to help guide, influence and support change in a positive way
  • You’ll provide clear, practical advice on employment matters, performance topics and organisational change, working alongside specialist teams to ensure the right support is available
  • By offering coaching and guidance, you’ll help strengthen manager capability and support consistent delivery of people-related activity
  • You’ll manage, support or contribute to HR projects, coordinating smaller pieces of work and providing structure and input to larger programmes when required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • You’ll bring experience in employee relations, including supporting informal resolution and early conversations
  • You’ll have a solid understanding of HR policies and how they are applied in practice
  • You’ll be comfortable working within a unionised environment and building constructive working relationships
  • You’ll have a good understanding of employment legislation and how it informs day-to-day people practises
  • You’ll hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification, a degree in HR or Business, or bring relevant HR experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or project-based organisation would be beneficial

The TYTAN HR Team:

The team provides practical, people-focused support to managers and colleagues across the business. Working closely with HR Business Partners, the team delivers HR processes, projects and change activity, helping to embed solutions effectively while aligning support to operational priorities within a fast-moving environment.

You will need to travel to RAF Coningsby Mon-Thurs for up to 4 weeks for induction, all expenses paid for, you will then be based at RAF Lossiemouth working 3 days on site depending on business needs.
