Salary: £40,000+ depending on skills and experience

Job Description:

You will be comfortable collaborating with others to design and integrate new compliance processes within the business. Ideally, you will have some familiarity with ITAR, EAR, as well as UK, EU, and other international export control regulations. Once trained, you will be expected to take on the responsibilities of an Export Control Officer, applying your subject matter expertise in this area.

Core Duties:

  • Work with others to develop and implement improved compliance processes into the business
  • Help improve the existing compliance/ assurance processes
  • Support the export control team with day-to-day duties
  • Write reports on findings and tracking those findings to completion

Essential Skills:

  • You will have a background in compliance
  • You will have basic knowledge of Export Control laws, regulations, and expertise in their application to business activities
  • You will have experience of Change Management/Process Improvements
  • You will have a proactive approach to solving problems, working with the wider team to develop solutions
  • You will have strong administrative skills and stakeholder management

The Export Control Team:

The Export Control team is seeking an Export Control Officer – come and join our successful team!

The ideal candidate will have a background in compliance (any subject). Training will be available to build your export control knowledge.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
