Job Title: Enterprise Architect

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £75,000 depending on skills and experience with executive car allowance and bonus on top

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the design and alignment of enterprise architecture across national and organisational boundaries
  • Developing and driving strategic roadmaps that support long-term collaboration and digital capability
  • Assessing and shaping solution options, balancing business needs, security, compliance and interoperability
  • Supporting the integration of collaboration platforms, cloud architectures and secure data environments
  • Facilitating process alignment and helping to define business capability models within a secure ecosystem
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding architectural decisions and change initiatives

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of working with enterprise systems supporting processes operated by a global workforce
  • Demonstrable experience with one of the following: PLM systems, SAP or Manufacturing systems of work
  • Familiarity with highly regulated or security-focused environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to guide and influence
  • Strong analytical and business analysis skills

Desirable:

  • Proven experience in enterprise or business architecture

You’ll lead the development of strategic roadmaps and enterprise solutions, ensuring that technology, process, and organisational goals are fully aligned. Your work will underpin the capability needed to deliver one of the most complex and critical defence programmes in the world. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
