We have an exciting opportunity for a Capability and Learning Coordinator to join our business based at Osborne SA for a fixed term of 12 months. Reporting to the Centre Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the coordination and administrative support of internal training and development across the Enterprise as well as the day-to-day coordination and support for programs and events within the Recruitment and On-boarding Centre.

This role will be based out of our Osborne Shipyard office in Adelaide and is open to our 9 day fortnight and hybrid work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing training and events calendar and promoting and coordinating training programs and events
  • Coordinating all training including sourcing providers , training requests and input of records and evaluations
  • Coordination of on-boarding including Day 1 induction at the Osborne site, facilitator and leadership welcome roster and ensuring their role readiness
  • Support with annual training plans, monthly budget meetings, monthly budget expenditure, invoices processing and providing monthly updates
  • Managing external service provider register and ensure registration of all third party training providers are on the approved supplier list
  • Maintaining course lists in relevant learning management system and/or enter training data into Oracle and Spark including: setting up training courses, monitoring and recording attendance and no-shows, scheduling and coordination of administrative requirements for training courses
  • Maintaining a training service desk by monitoring, triaging and responding to training queries

About YOU

  • Demonstrated experience in a Learning/Training Coordinator role or similar
  • Good stakeholder management skills and a high level of customer focus
  • Previous experience working in a multi-faceted organisation and/or operational environment would be desirable
  • Ability to effectively respond to rapidly changing demands and priorities
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and MS office suite
  • Ability to Eligibility to hold and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Defence security clearance
