About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Change Analyst to join our Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) program based at either Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA or Bourke Street, VIC CBD.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager – Change, the successful incumbent will be joining a cross-functional Technical Change Team within the DCE Program and will be responsible for providing impact assessments and strategic insights for program change.
Acting with a degree of autonomy, this role provides an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the strategic landscape of program delivery, is able to conduct analysis of changes and is comfortable reporting to senior stakeholders.
Please note, this position addresses technical change and is not focused on organisational or business change.

Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a consistent approach to assessing the primary impact of changes (schedule, resources, cost and quality)
- Develop cross-functional impact assessments of change requests including engineering, supply chain and production
- Investigate and analyse changes, authoring reports and presentations
- Consolidate day-to-day change and emergent impacts into decision-ready packs for program leadership and commercial engagement
- Present to the DCE Program Lead team and to senior stakeholders to enable strategic decision making
- Undertake broader analysis activities of the program to support lessons learnt for future programs
About YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or equivalent (advantageous)
- Previous experience in Project or Project Change Management
- Experienced in developing project analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of Cost, Schedule, and Change Management
- Exposure to major defence or construction projects
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- NV1 defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
