About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Business Support Officer to work with our central Project Management & Controls (PM&C) Function. Reporting to the Head of Project Management, the Business Support Officer is responsible for providing support to the broader PM&C functional team and working collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders as required.
Ideally based out of Edinburgh Parks, Adelaide or Bourke Street, Melbourne, this role is permanent part time with a 20 hour per week requirement to be worked across 4 days.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Providing day to day administration support as required to the Head of Project Management (HoPM)
- Owner of the PM @Work Site, and the Central PM&C Function internal teamspace site – including undertaking regular maintenance and updates/redesigns/refreshes
- Co-ordination of the PM Engagement Plan – contributing to the formation of the Plan, co-ordinating logistics for the various forums, engaging with stakeholders/presenters and managing the closure of actions
- Managing communications relating to the Central PM Function mailbox
- Maintenance of the PM&C Community Master List, and associated Distribution Lists – based on new hires/transfers/departures, and engaging with PM BPs as appropriate
- Ad-hoc activities as required
About YOU
You’ll have:
- Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a geographically dispersed team
- Excellent time management skills and be a motivated self-starter
- High attention to detail
- Organisational and problem-solving skills
- An ability to work and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- A flexible and can do attitude
- Computer literacy with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint
- Eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
