Job Description

Company Description

We’re ASOS, the online retailer for fashion lovers all around the world.

We exist to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you’re free to be your true self without judgement, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

But how are we showing up? We’re proud members of Inclusive Companies, are Disability Confident Committed and have signed the Business in the Community Race at Work Charter and we placed 8th in the Inclusive Top 50 Companies Employer list.

Everyone needs some help showing up as their best self. Let our Talent team know if you need any adjustments throughout the process in whatever way works best for you.

Job Description

YOUR ROLE

You'll support the planning and delivery of ASOS' events, from team moments and brand experiences to press, influencer and partner events.

You'll work closely with the Events team and people across Brand, Comms and the wider business. You'll be given clear direction, take ownership of your tasks and be someone the team can rely on to get things done properly.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and lots of fun, but the admin and practical jobs are a big part of making the exciting moments happen.

What you'll be doing...

  • Supporting event administration, including timelines, checklists, guest lists, RSVPs, contact sheets, schedules and shared folders.
  • Supporting venue and supplier research, requesting quotes and keeping records up to date.
  • Helping with purchase orders, invoices, expenses and budget trackers, with guidance from the team.
  • Preparing event materials such as name badges, signage, briefing packs, seating plans and on-the-day kits.
  • Providing practical support during event set-up, live delivery and breakdown. This may include moving boxes and event materials, dressing spaces, checking stock, greeting guests and helping with cloakrooms or registration.
  • Keeping the team updated on progress, flagging issues early and asking questions when something is unclear.
  • Helping organise event product, samples, props, gifting and equipment, including logging, labelling, packing, unpacking and keeping storage areas tidy.
  • Booking couriers, taxis and travel; arranging deliveries and collections; and running local errands for last-minute supplies or event needs.
  • Supporting post-event tidy-up, returns, stock checks, feedback and reporting.
  • Taking on the unexpected jobs that come with live events and approaching them with energy and a can-do attitude.
  • Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

Qualifications

Who we'd like to meet...

  • Super organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and proactive. If you say you'll do something, you make sure it gets done.
  • Happy to roll up your sleeves and help with practical tasks, including carrying and moving event materials safely and spending long periods on your feet.
  • Comfortable with admin and confident using everyday tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A clear, friendly communicator who works well with lots of different people.
  • Calm under pressure and able to adapt when plans change.
  • Interested in events, fashion, culture and how ASOS shows up in real life.
  • Some experience in events, hospitality, retail, production, administration or a similarly fast-paced environment would be useful, but attitude, organisation and willingness to get stuck in matter most.
  • Able to work flexibly when events require an early start, late finish or occasional travel, with notice wherever possible.
