Job Description

Company Description

We're ASOS, the online retailer for fashion lovers all around the world.

We exist to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you're free to be your true self without judgement, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

Everyone needs some help showing up as their best self. We're Disability Confident Committed - let our Talent team know if you need any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.

Job Description

ASOS is looking for an Assistant Pricing Manager to join our Global Pricing team. You'll report to the Pricing Manager and help shape how we price our full assortment portfolio across all our Global Markets. Pricing is one of the most important ways we stay competitive and grow profitably. In this role you'll help make sure our prices are well structured, competitive in each market and backed by solid data. You'll use market intelligence, analysis and close work with the Tech, Trading and Retail teams to turn insight into price actions. Along the way you'll learn how price investment drives customer and commercial results. This role suits someone analytical and commercially curious who enjoys working with others and wants to build a career in pricing at a leading global fashion retailer.

The Details

  • Base price architecture: Reviewing base price architecture across our global markets and suggesting changes so prices stay consistent and competitive, and work commercially in each territory.
  • Price Matching: Maintaining the price matching process across the Branded portfolio so we stay competitive against key competitors in market.
  • Market intelligence: Working with our third-party market intelligence tool and its team, and sharing findings and competitor insights with the wider company.
  • Return on investment: Learning how pricing decisions deliver return on investment, and helping measure and explain the results of pricing activity.
  • Price change execution: Helping the Pricing Admin run the price change process from start to finish, and working with the Tech teams to find and set up opportunities for process automation.
  • Sharing insight: Helping the Pricing Manager share analysis and recommendations from pricing initiatives with the wider Pricing team and key internal stakeholders.
  • Elasticity and dynamic pricing: Learning which pricing levers affect elasticity by territory and product type, and using that knowledge to recommend dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Reporting: Helping create and send out consolidated weekly and monthly reports on price trading initiatives. These reports track key customer and business metrics and are shared with the wider business.
  • Team development: Being an active member of the wider Pricing team and helping develop the Pricing Admins by sharing knowledge, coaching and supporting their growth.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.
