Role: People Partner
Location: Pipavav, Gujarat (This role is based full-time in Pipavav (Onsite))

Key Responsibilities
Manage Resourcing Process
- Manage end-to-end recruitment at all levels with TAA lead within the Terminal ensuring panel strength and a fair/equitable process is adhered to in accordance with policy – Sourcing, assessment, pre-selection, final selection, offer.
- Manage the onboarding of all external candidates from induction planning onwards.
- Partners with leaders to enhance employee experience through the development and execution of onboarding and/or, post-hire interviews, and check-ins with employees.
Drive People Process
- Drive consistent and high-quality objective setting and performance review processes to achieve improved levels of performance.
- Ensure performance appraisals are completed in accordance with policy and assists managers and supervisors in their preparation whenever required.
- Drive engagement survey with action planning and follow-ups with leaders.
- Support leaders in managing people performance cases and recommend action plans.
- Act as a sparring partner and build strong relationships with supported leaders and their teams, providing sparing and advice on people matters.
- Advise leaders on team org. design to ensure fit with business needs, including role design, job levelling, and organization shape.
- Own People Analytics / people VMS in an entity and address the improvement areas with the leaders and local management in cooperation with terminal / function People team.
- Manage exit and offboarding process for separating employees.
- Ensure conversations with leaders and PBPs are data-driven; Support People budgeting and forecasting process, as relevant.
- Work with People Operations Specialist to drive the monthly payroll.
- Work effectively with the entire regional EEO on day-to-day delivery of people processes as well as to resolve complex cases.
- Proactively evaluate, advise on, and ensure updates are made to local People policies, procedures, documents; actively participate in People processes improvement projects and People audits.
Manage Compensation and Benefits
- Closely coordinate with Regional EEO and partner with wider People community on support needed to run an efficient annual People cycle
- Coordinate and support the entire salary and pay for performance review in close cooperation with the Head of HR.
- Influence reward decisions effectively, ensuring compliance with the Global Rewards approach and fairness & consistency of decision making. Co-ordinate the salary review & bonus allocation process for the relevant teams, taking accountability for ensuring that decisions are accurately captured and processed.
- Work with leaders on corporate/COE driven initiatives and rewards & recognition programs.

Qualifications & Experience
- 6-8 years of experience in HR Business Partner, preferably in a multicultural, international, fast moving matrix organizational environment.
- Postgraduate in Human Resources
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trust at all levels.
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
- Must be able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
- Must have strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyse data.
- Requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to balance business priorities with employee welfare.
