About the role:
The Global Partnerships Enablement team is part of A.P. Moller – Maersk’s Public & Regulatory Affairs function and plays a central role in advancing the company’s global stakeholder engagement agenda. Based at APM Terminals’ headquarters in The Hague, you will operate at the intersection of business, geopolitics, public policy, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
In this role, you will support senior leaders in building strategic relationships, navigating complex global developments, and strengthening APM Terminals’ position as a trusted partner to governments, institutions, and industry stakeholders worldwide.

Additionally, you will:
Work directly with senior leaders on strategic global stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Gain exposure to international forums, policymakers, industry leaders, and global institutions.
Develop expertise across public affairs, business diplomacy, geopolitical analysis, and strategic partnerships.
Collaborate with diverse teams across regions, functions, and business units in a truly global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and execution of global stakeholder engagement strategies for senior leadership.
Prepare executive-level briefings, stakeholder profiles, talking points, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
Monitor and analyse political, regulatory, economic, and geopolitical developments impacting the business.
Translate complex policy and market developments into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Coordinate leadership participation at major international forums, conferences, and stakeholder platforms.
Support the development of strategic partnerships with governments, international organisations, industry associations, think tanks, and other key stakeholders.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Public Affairs, Commercial, Operations, and Business Units to maximise engagement impact.
What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Public Policy, Law, Business, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, international organisations, policy advisory, management consulting, sustainability, trade, or related disciplines.
Strong understanding of global political, economic, regulatory, and geopolitical trends and their impact on business.
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills in English.
Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar platforms to support research, intelligence gathering, analysis, and productivity.
