- Work within a global Asset Management team supporting terminals across multiple regions and equipment types.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders, OEMs, suppliers, inventory specialists, and asset management professionals.
- Gain exposure to global inventory planning, spare parts lifecycle management, and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Access development opportunities within APM Terminals and the broader Maersk organization while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize lifecycle spare parts stocking plans for new and existing terminal equipment.
- Partner with OEMs, suppliers, category management, inventory managers, and warehouse teams to improve spare parts availability and inventory performance.
- Support equipment acquisition and commissioning activities by ensuring spare parts requirements are incorporated into inventory plans.
- Align local maintenance plans with global inventory strategies and spare parts governance standards.
- Build and maintain parts master data, BOM/eBOM alignment, and parts mapping across equipment manufacturers.
- Contribute to regional stocking models that optimize inventory levels, transportation costs, and service delivery performance.
- Provide technical guidance on spare parts criticality, stock level optimization, and disposal planning for obsolete or redundant inventory.

- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in asset-intensive industries working with BOMs, eBOMs, spare parts, and maintenance-related inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory planning, warehousing principles, MRO/M&R processes, and global supply chain operations.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven inventory decisions.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multicultural and cross-functional global teams.
Location: The Hague, Netherlands
Travel: Up to 20% across Europe
