This isn’t just a coordination role—it’s a leadership opportunity. You’ll coach and support senior Product Owners, align diverse product strategies with enterprise-wide goals, and foster deep collaboration across engineering, architecture, data, and digital teams. • Define and embed guardrails and best practices to standardise product management.

  • Set and monitor performance metrics for the product team.

  • Ensure alignment, collaboration, and consistent ways of working across the team.

Organisational Product Portfolio Management & Planning

  • Oversee product portfolio alignment across value streams to maximise business impact.

  • Partner with Architecture to ensure sound technology and product decisions.

  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and roadmaps.

  • Lead cross-functional planning, prioritisation, and budgeting activities.

  • Support ROI evaluation, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and risk mitigation.

  • Drive delivery of user and business value across the product lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement, Market & Product Research

  • Conduct market, competitor, and trend analysis to inform product decisions.

  • Establish feedback loops at scale to ensure products reflect user and business needs.

  • Champion external and internal insights to keep the product portfolio relevant and competitive.

  • (Optional: Develop clear communication strategies for sharing product vision and updates across the business.)

  • Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation across the business.

  • Role model Anglian Water values and leadership behaviours.

  • Manage, develop, and empower a high-performing team.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and wellbeing.

  • Bring external thinking in, staying curious and open to new ways of working.
